General Introduction on Decentralized Exchanges

In a decentralized exchange, the users will not be required to register or sign-up separately. The users are not required to submit any detail such a mobile number or e-mail ID. The user simply has to connect the wallet, engage in the trading activity and the transaction settlements which follow are entirely on-chain.

Before initiating to transact, these are the following requirements users need to fulfill beforehand in order to be ready to transact.

  • A decentralized/DeFi wallet (eg. Metamask or any other wallet which supports the WalletConnect protocol) is available with the user and accessible on the same device the user is accessing the DEX in

  • Coins such as BNB, Matic, Ethereum and others are present in the DeFi walletwhich would be required for gas fees

Introducing LayerK DEX

LayerK DEX consists of the following four services. The list of tokens and blockchains available to trade, differ between these services:

1. DEX Spot

The well-known spot trading on an integrated TradingView with professional K-line graphs, with added compatibility of decentralization where the users can connect their wallets and start trading between tokens such as BTC, ETH, BNB, AAVE, UNI and LINK through their USDT pairs. DEX Spot is operating on Polygon and Binance Smart Chain.

2. Crosschain

The most versatile trading interface, where a large number of tokens and a large number of blockchains are supported. Users will be able to swap between the tokens of different chains within a single interface without being held back by the necessity of the token pair availability.
